With 36% of employers reporting that their talent sourcing strategies are insufficient for finding the skills they need (Gartner), leaders are beginning to take a closer look internally at their existing workforce to fill skill demands.

    The Scenario

The client, a healthcare organization with over 90,000 employees globally was restructuring in two divisions, which led to a reduction in force. However, the organization also had many job openings in other parts of the business. It needed a way to connect employees to new opportunities within the organization.

    The Solution

Right Management delivered an internal mobility program for impacted employees to put them in the best position to pursue open positions within the business. The program included workshops in personal branding, resume development, interviewing skills, and 1:1 career coaching support. Over 2,000 impacted employees took advantage of the mobility & change services; many were able to land within the organization and get better paying positions.

    The Outcome

    • 35% of positions were filled as a result of the mobility program, with faster time to fill and shorter time to productivity than with external hires.
    • Positive perception of the organization by impacted employees increased by 18 percentage points.

Job search confidence of employees increased from 38% to 89% as a result of Right Management services.
